CMC

CMC is a high-purity, effective viscosifier as a supplement to or replacement of Guar gelling agent in certain stimulation/fracturing fluids. As a linear Carboxymethyl Cellulose polysaccharide, CMC can be easily cross-linked with metals such as zirconium, titanium, and aluminum to offer excellent proppant carrying ability. Unlike guar gums and derivatives that usually contain high insoluble solid residues (~ 3 wt%) in content, CMC is highly soluble (less than 1 wt% of solid residues), making it less damaging to the formation and proppant pack. Degradation of CMC is nearly complete with common breakers such as ammonium persulfate to regain reservoir conductivity. CMC is an environmentally benign product.

SUPERIOR CARRYING CAPACITY
Efficient gelling agent used in fracture fluids. Excellent proppant carrying capacity with easily cross-linked feature.

HIGHLY DISPERSIBLE
Hydrates rapidly and is highly dispersible in water and brines of many types and salinity.

HIGH VISCOSITY
Produces excellent viscosity profile.

ECO-FRIENDLY
Environmentally safe material and high degradation.
