Acidizing Fluid

APPLICATIONS » Acid stimulations are practiced in thousands of wells every year. While the process enjoys widespread practice, there continues to be the challenge of creating easily separated fluids post-stimulation. Acid jobs typically release high concentrations of dissolved calcium and iron as the acid spends in the reservoir. Also, it is common for this process to generate a significant concentration of fines. These effects make the subsequent separation of the produced oil and aqueous treatment fluid very difficult to separate.

ChemEOR develops customized non-emulsifiers. Please check with us for more details.

Adding a non-emulsifier chemical to the stimulation fluid formulations will accelerate the separation of the oil and water associated with the initial flow back of produced fluids from a well stimulation treatment. These non-emulsifiers chemicals may be added at low concentrations (e.g. 1 -2 gpt) to have this desirable effect.

The OilReco NE Series of products are especially formulated to work with a variety of stimulation fluids, crude oils, and reservoir and process conditions. One of these products, OilReco NE-1050, has been formulated to be effective for a wide variety of stimulation fluids and crude oils. Adding OilReco NE-1050 Non-emulsifier to the stimulation fluids results quick Oil/Water Separation (Figure 1).
